So sorry for your loss, I know how painful that can be having had two myself. How far along were you? First recommendation, give yourself and your body some time to heal. If you are very young and time isn't an issue in terms of your fertility, give yourself 9 months to a year before you get pregnant again. See a fertility specialist who can shed some light on the reasons for your past pregnancy loss. Early loss can result from poor implantation, chromosomal problems,or immunological problems. Also drug use and smoking can initiate loss because smoking causes blood vessel constriction. Later loss can be from cervical incompetence(the cervix won't stay closed long enough to support a term pregnancy) (this can be fixed with a surgical proceedure called a circolage where the cervix is stitched closed until the baby is ready to be delivered.) a well as other factors too numerous to list here.
You best shot is to get yourself in good physical shape and to eat well. Drink your orange juice every day, and eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables, and take your prenatal vitamins every day before getting pregnant again. go see the doctor before your next attempt at pregnancy and see if one of those factors is affecting your ability to carry before you have another dissappointment. Good Luck!

There is nothing you have done wrong. I fortunately have 4 kids but I also had 3 miscarriages. This is a very stressful time and you can get support usually from your local hospital. I get support through IVillage.com there are some great people there.
