Yes ofcourse I know who Shirley Temple is! She was a very popular child star many years ago. She made TONS of black and white movies that are still fairly popular today. Heidi and The Little Princess are ones that I've watched recently. My 6 year old daughter loves her movies.

Now she is Shirley Temple Black. As an adult, she was an ambassador at the United Nations. I don't know what she's doing now though... I figure she's in her 80's?

Yes I remember Shirley Temple Black.
One of the things she did after her acting career was she ran for congress. She lost but she was named an American Ambassador for the West African Nation Ghana.

Shirley Temple was a child actress in the early 1930's.
She played in many roles ...most of them included the loss of one parent or divorce issues. She had her hair tied up with 50 rags each day in order to get her curls just so.

Her acting career ended shortly after her teenage years. She later got married and became Shirley Temple Black.
I believe she went into politics. Something about an ambassador. I am unsure if it was her or her husband.
After that we have not heard that much about her.

However, I still have many of her early films on VHS and still enjoy her movies. Best of luck with your paper.

I do remember who Shirley Temple is. When I was young I used to watch all her movies on TV. She was adorable.

She became a congresswoman - her name is Shirley Temple Black now. I don't know if she's still in office, she's probably pretty old - but I always admired her having two very successful careers.

1. Yes. She was a tap dancer/singer from the 1920's and 1930's. One of the first real child stars.
2. When she stopped acting, she got married and moved out west somewhere. She started to write books, and do charity work. She's in her late 70's now. I think her name now is Shirley Temple Black.

2) During Prohibition, when she grew up and was no longer able to be the cute little girl on stage anymore she opened a juice-bar and tried marketing her own concoction: the Virgin Shirley Temple. However, this was all for naught, since everyone knew she was a slut and nobody abided by the laws of prohibition and would spike their drinks with bathtub gin then take Shirley back in the alley for a poke.
