I had mine vertically pierced and removed them well before birth. I had no problems breastfeeding. I have heard of some women with lateral piercings having issues, but I would ask your doctor if this is from the type of piercing or just scar tissue before assuming that verticles are fine and laterals cause damage.

I would not recommend piercing this area of the body. To answer your question though no it would not effect breast feeding. I have a question for you though. Why would anyone want to sacrifice the pleasurable sensation one gets from nipple stimulation because from what ive been told it will take away some of the senisitivity in the nipple.

Not always but if she has a lot of scar tissue then it can interfere with the milk getting out. She will be able to produce plenty of milk though.

no, it shouldn't. They messed my peircing on the right side and it has less milk but the other side compensates.
