I look at my dog and think, who would take care of him, I have to be here for him. He needs me, he counts on me, and he loves me unconditionally. Just knowing that one living thing is counting on me, keeps me going. I don't want to let him down, nor do I want to let myself down.

I go to the Lake District or the mountains in Wales. Both can be very peaceful and I can get lost in my own world until I feel like facing what passes for real life again. Incidently a pint of good beer also helps me to reflect on why I might be a pain to others. The other reason for such choce is that from a height other people and their lives can seem quite insignificant whereas mine is the important one. Selfish? Probably. But try to keep away from the pills and the shrinks.
Just for me!

Depression is so terrible, you have my sympaphy.
When I'm sad I do the worst thing possible, I find a quiet place to be by myself and try to think of a solution to my problems. Usually, I end up downing a bottle of red wine and falling asleep. Somehow, the next day always seems better.
Probably a better action would be to seek out some good friends and talk over your worries.
I wish you well - hope you can be happy at least some of the time

Rest is what you need. Take a vacation by the sea. Think positive, and everything will turn out for the best. Keep your spirit up and go volunteer someplace. Take a psychology class for credit. You will become happy again. I think everyone has low periods in their life. Ride the waves as they come. This being unhappy thing will pass.

The garden or park. The bumblebees and the birds.

Nectar of the gods - honey.

Nature lets you be who you are and the wildlife acknowledges that you are part of creation.

Remember that in all circumstances.
Remember too that you are worth it no matter what any one else says or thinks.

Alternatively you could go to the doc, get pills and go for counselling or you could visit the mood gym at:

Go somewhere you haven't been before (city or country, etc.). Going to a new place reminds me how big the world is and how much there is still left for me to see. It also reminds me that the next chapter of my life is still to be written with all different possibilities and experiences waiting out there for me. If you can't decide on a specific place to visit, might I suggest a greenhouse for a start. For me, all of my senses are affected...sight, feel, smell, etc, of life!

hi
one thing to be known to all of them that ----------------------
life is a package of joy, happyness, sad, sorrow, good, bad etc.
when we r happy we dont try to go away from it.
then why should we try to go away whan we r unhappy/sad.
dont u feel that this is wrong
anyway i can give u an idea for your problem
try to share ur feeling with anybody/with the person with u r headed up
1st thing deside that ru correct to urself
then try to have an open talk within urself & then to others.
try to cutout the problem as soon as possible, otherwise u may sometimes lose a lot.
hope u get it
bye
behappy always all hurdles will be away from u.

I have tablets and counselling. In between that I tend to shut myself off in my bedroom to be alone. It's hard facing anybody and talking sometimes, so I guess just listening to music and allowing myself the time to be alone with my emotions helps in some small way.

Hope you feel better soon.

Instesd of going to anyone,i would prefer to close myself in a room and think out one by one all the problems that cropped up,and try to find a solution because ultimately i think we are our own counselors.Even when we go to counselors they actually just help us to yhink clearly and properly.no one can solve our problems better than ourselves.Try putting yourself out of your shoes and analyse the problems from the point of view of a third person.this way you will remain neutral and not take a biased decision.try it out,am sure it will help.it worked for me because if you are not to be blamed then nothing unfair will happen to you.

Church. No matter what denomination there will be someone there to help. I always find someone to talk to when i get down. The more you can talk to someone, the better everything will become. Good Luck.

I usually shut everyone out. Not the best thing to do but i dont really like sharing my thoughts with others.
Thats why I like this place so much, nobody knows who i am so if someone does judge me on my mistakes i dont care because i dont know them and they dont know me
