I fought and fought against reading it. I mean, my mother liked them, it must be horrible, right? Finally, my mom convinced me to read "The Hobbit." I got through that and read the next three within two weeks. I got in trouble for reading it during classes (i was about 12 at the time)!

I read the Hobbit in one sitting it took about 14 hours
I was a sophmore in HS at the time 1970

I didn't read the LOTR series until many years later
each book took about 2 weeks but none of them
were better than the Hobbit to me

I then attempted to read the Similairian I got a ways into it
just kept falling asleep all time trying to read it

I think about 2 weeks all three. When i got to the last one i had to stop myself from reading it so i could enjoy it and make it last a little longer, but it didnt work i read it in 2 days.

i do no longer certainly advise it in any respect. We had to study the Hobbit (prequel to LotR) for novel learn in college, and a million/2 the class (alongside with me) just about failed the unit by fact we could no longer study it for extra advantageous than one minute at a time till now starting to be bored and falling asleep. So, i could say, a fantastically long term.

Which time?

The quickest I ever read through it (not counting the Hobit) was less than a week when I was on vacation once.

Usually takes a month or so, however.

Didn't attempt it. I need a bookmark to get through a comic book.
