Bush has "Americanized" them. Remember: month-long vacations is Bush's trademark.

Yes, amazing isn't it? It should show us all beyond a shadow of a doubt that they aren't committed. Which is something that has been obvious even without this vacation. You know what's almost worse to me? Those people that defend that by saying "Well, OUR Congress does it." Yeah, our Congress does it too. We also aren't in a civil war with our country torn apart and bleeding to death. If we were, you can bet that taking a vacation wouldn't be on the lips of anyone in our government. I'm completely disgusted by it.

Yes. Also it is true that our Congress will be on vacation from the beginning of August to the beginning of September. I would say both Washington and Iraq need to get their heads screwed on.

Yes, but at least it is not two months, as they had planned on earlier....lol...........Tony Snowe was asked about this and said, " It is 130 degrees in Baghdad" The same person pointed out that it was also 130 degrees for the US soldiers, to which he said, "point taken"....poor Tony.

Our troops will be in iraq for years no matter what any of us say or do. the best way to stop the war is keep kids from enlisting.

It's true.

Bush will be on his ranch cutting brush also, just like in 2001, just before he allowed the worst terrorist attack in US history.

Amazing.
