I love the convience and clearity of cds. however I so miss my LP's and 45's I still have over 200 LP and maybe 450-500 45's. And I love listening to them. I love the scratching and popping and clicking that comes with a needle. What about you? I remember lying on my bed with a new LP and listening to it while opening up the large case and all the cool stuff that was often stuffed into the LPs CD don't get that exciting. What to you think?

I agree, though I buy all digital music now for convenience sake, I miss the LPs and 45s.

I still listen to the ones I have from growing up and love to look at the cover art and liner notes. Spent many hours laying on my bedroom floor pouring over the extra "stuff" that came with the records while listening to them. Funny thing is that now I barely know the words and titles of new songs because you aren't studying the liner notes anymore.

I Loved those!!!!! It makes me feel a little old that I remember, but then again when I mention cassettes, my kids look at me like I am a alien....LOL...I too loved to listen to my new LP's and singing along like I was a part of the music, What happened to the good ole days>? When getting a new LP was like getting a new bike...it was special and we really appreciated it....where as the kids of today are so wrapped up i technology, that getting a CD isn't a special event, it is almost like they expect it...and when they do get a CD, it isn't special....it is just the way things are...usually theycomplain cause they didn't get the iPhone....LOL....anyway good question

I did love LP's, and I've still got quite a collection... but i don't really miss them., and I never play them anymore. I don't even have a turntable these days. I've replace them all with CDs now.
