You totally should! Does your school have a good cheerleading team?

My friend has always been a huge dancer, and let me tell you--she is FANTASTIC! I was afraid that she was going to waste her time with cheerleading and stint or wonderful skills.

When I went to one of her baasketball games, I was amazed! At the halftime show they did a circus theme routine with all of the carnival music. It was like 4 minutes of heaven!

They were jumping dancing, doing moves that I would see at her recxitals. What really amazed me was when the were in the line and looked like they were about to cancan. They arms were linked and then suddenely everyother cheerleader did a backflip turn around their partners' arms!

So yes, do it! You might eb plesantly surprised.

(and watch Bring it On to get into the cheerleading mood!)

Well speaking from a 5 year expireance cheerleader. Dancing and cheer are diffrenet in ways. In cheer you have to be sharp and you can't really be graceful just perky. In dance you move all around the place hands graceful. Things like that. But since you've gotten gymnastics and I'm sure you've been practicing cheer. then why not. You should try-out but make sure you try-out for dance if you don't make cheer.

A tip for cheer is smile and like.. don't be shy. Loud and perky. But dont' think thats all what cheering is about. Your trying to promote spirit so think about that. Just walk out of there knowing that you gave it your all. show personaility when your cheering.

u sound like my friend Brooke.she has always been a dancer but her and I tried out for seventh grade cheer leading and made. Dancing makes cheerleading easier since u r very flexible. So go out for the team.I mean like I was a soccer player for 8 years and now I am a cheerleader.so wat do u hav to lose.

If I was you I would stick with dancing but if you want to do cheerrleading go with what you want to do. But don't let other people tell you which one you should do.
