Everybody hates hospitals and wish no one had to visit them. You have to go and visit your g-mother. She will be glad to see you. Take her flowers as well. Everyone likes them...
Hope she gets well soon. Give her my best wishes

Hello-
I regret that your Grandmother is not well and hope only the best of outcomes with the surgery. I agree that hospitle food is a little blande(kind of like school food)but it is prepared with your health in mind by someone educated in nutrishion. It is good for you as a balanced meal. One other thing you can do is prepare you own meal and eat before you go to see your grandmother. Or you can go to one of those burger places if you only want to have one meal for the day.

What a coincidence! I hate when family members visit my patients...lol. Just kidding... kind of... lol. I don't like to see anyone in the hospital, let alone a family member. That's why I work so hard to get them out and back home. ;) Hope everything is ok with your granny!

I really hate going to hospitals just get a lil' "weirded out" about the whole thing. It's been a bummer lately because I've had loved ones in too. I still go, but I just try not to stay too long.

I hate to see people in the hospital, but I like seeing all the professionals doing their job. I might volunteer at a local hospital just to stay active in retirement.

My husband was just in for eight days - it was hard trying to visit, drop the kids at daycare and then go to work at a stressful job. Yea, and the hospital food sucks too - bland and mushy.

I do. It's the worse place to be if you need medical care.....especially elderly people. Don't laugh....so many mistakes are made in hospitals a person needs an advocate by his/her bedside for the whole stay.

I hate visiting them too... but then, every family member I've ever had to go visit has ended up dying in there, so I guess I'm allowed.

I hate hospitals - but I have far more experience of being the patient than the visitor.
