ok so my friend always comes to me when he likes a girl, he always likes girls for their looks, i always tell him to like girls for who they are, he never listens.
ok so he is not popular at all, but he always goes and chooses the rude popular girl, that just makes fun of him.
ok, so anyways he always says im nice and then right after he says "why are the pretty girls always mean" how he says it he makes it sound like im the ugliest person in the world
he makes me feel so ugly and since im like a normal teenager, i already have self issues.
so since he makes me feel low at times should i be friends with him?

Try this...the next time he asks, "Why are all the pretty girls mean", tell him, "they're only mean to "you", get it?" If he asks what that's supposed to mean, you say, "they know you're only interested in their looks, and that makes you ugly to them. You keep telling me about how all the pretty girls are mean...well, I'm not mean, so does that mean I'm ugly? If so, why do you hang around me?" then walk away. What he does next will reveal not only how he really feels about you, but more about him than you would find out in a hundred years of being nice to him...it will also put him in his place.

you should be up front to him about how you feel. Ask him do he thinks you're ugly, because it seems like he's calling you that. If that's how he feels don't be friends with him because he is ignorant and doesn't seem to care how any one else feels but himself.

I would never be friends with someone who brings me down. It's one thing if my friend is telling me something I need to hear. Otherwise, it's completely unnecessary.

I would tell him how you feel, and tell him that he hurts your feelings, see if he stops, and if he doesn't then stop being his friend! Friends are supposed to give you a rise, not make you feel bad!

just tell him that hes making you feel bad. explain how his words are hurtful and if he doesnt see it, then maybe you should not be friends with him anymore- no one needs someone in their life that brings you down

i used to have a friend like that. he was into all the hott girls. he called me a whore and other stuff and told me i was jealous whenever i told him those girls weren't good enough for him. i finally just stopped being his friend because he was using me. he was playing with my emotions. guys like that are bitches. ditch him like you would a crappy boyfriend.
