Sorry to burst your buuble....My father died of prostate cancer in 2003, he was fully insured, from the time of his diagnosis to his first traetment was well over 4 months. How did he get his first treatment?....... My parents on their own drove 1000 miles to texas (dad was afraid to fly) to got to a private cancer treatment center. This was not covered by their insurance. My father could no longer sit around getting sicker by the day waiting for the insurance company to approve a treatment.
If anyone thinks that the insurance companies move fast...you will be in for huge disappointment when you get ill......I'll never forget my dad saying "They told me this is a really aggressive cancer, but I've waited 3 months and they havent done anything"
