I need my trumpet in working condition by tomorrow and i just realized my tuning slide is stuck... does anyone know how to get it unstuck without taking it to a repair man?

You could also try WD-40.

Put it in the freezer for a hour or so and then take it out and see if it will unstick, if not, let it warm up and see if you can get it apart. This usually works.

in case you have tried each and every of the "tricks of the commerce", it somewhat is time to take it to a professional, then verify to oil it and shelter it after that. I had an identical subject till I have been given my horn serviced final twelve months. and purely FYI, sooner or later i does not propose putting it in a vice... lol
