Just wondering how popular the jumbo burgers are from McDonalds, Burger King, Carls Jr, etc. It seems that every chain has the big burgers nowadays. Personally, I love the big burgers, eventhough I can never finish eating one.

Not a stupid question.
McDonald’s has probably sold more than 100 billion hamburgers in its 53 years. But an exact number is hard to come by. For one thing, those numbers on the signs were always just educated guesses.
And in 1994, McDonald’s “made a conscious decision to stop counting,” according to spokesperson Walt Riker.
Riker said these numbers were projections based on how much beef was shipped to each restaurant. It was counted by hamburger patty—so the Big Mac, which contains two patties, indeed counted as two.

As far as I know there are no jumbo burgers but there is this place where I live called "My Sisters Cafe"..it is in Perry,GA... They make a "jumbo" burger even though that isn't what they call it but it is so big I could eat off of it for a couple of meals ..It is stacked high and made of real meat...no soy or processed meat....If you are ever this way please stop and try it..you'll love it!!!! The cost of the meal including crinkle cut fries and a pickle spear...about $6...
