Just wondering what does love mean to you?

My first name is also Adrian..
To me.. love means caring for someone more than you care for yourself. It doesn't mean I ignore or abuse myself, but it means that person means more than I can express, and that even if I choose to try to express that love, I can never and will never find all the words or ways. It means that person touches my heart and moves my spirit. Love means there's some intangible connection that draws me to them. To me.. love means, to keep that person in my life, I have to be open to being there for that person and being receptive to receiving their love. Finally, it also means I have to love myself enough to know when that person may take advantage of my feelings and when it's hurting me. I have to love myself. A favorite line in a song, "In letting you go, I'm loving myself."

Love takes on many different forms. It can be the silly love you feel when you first fall for someone. It can also be the little things that someone does for you. Or the big things someone does for you. taking out the trash, changing the baby or planning a perfect weekend get away. Love can be many different things.

I think Love has become an illusion for me... I found that I can move it from one person to another,,, I can "love" many people at the same time....
I suppose I'll always love my mother,, but i will never love my father, as I haven't seen him in over 30 years....
I will always love my sons,,, but don't always love my wife...
So Love, has become a comercialized term to help companies sell more flowers, chocolate candy, diamonds, help the churches with more wedding donations and create more children to keep the money flowing in baptisums and confermations, and such... Love is used to sell valenties day cards...
wow, thanks for asking the questoin.... people actually kill themselves over LOVE.... silly isint it??
I think Love is a mental tool, used to keep you happy.... for example, many people are in LOVE with thier jobs... and never have time for their wife and kids....

Happiness, fulfillment, tingly, hard to explain. The feeling of wanting to be with no one else, but that person. Nothing else matters. You could care less. I love it that I am in love. Nothing is better!!!

love is not something you feel, love is something you do. to me it's everything. the big things and the little things. but, it's the little things that add up and mean the most.
