I have an all-in-one "Hitachi" computer I was trying to restore. I was able to turn this PC "ON", but then when I was about to install a program it won't power up, not even a light on the power switch on the front panel, I'm not hearing any sound or sensing breeze coming out of the power supply fan.. I opened up the whole thing just to be sure if the power supply itself is receiving electricity... I was sure it was always set into 220V, tried to connect the power cable and checked if the power supply fan would work just to see if it's a RAM or motherboard or any problem with the system, but no power at all. No light, no sound, no indication that the whole thing is receiving electricity, like the computer is dead or something... Is this a power supply problem, tried three power cables, all power sockets and still computer's not powering up... Does it matter because this PC is using an AT power supply...

I presume that you aren't in the US... otherwise you would be at 110 volts.
If the fan is inop and the power light is out, I think that you've a dead
PS. There MAY be a fuse inside near the power cord input to the PS, but I don't recommend getting that far into it.

where are you that your computer is using 220 volts of electricity. Even my servers only use 110V. If you are in america I would switch it to 110 or 115 or whatever it says on the other side of that supply and try again. If you haven't blown the supply or boards it should be ok.

Make sure that the light on the power supply is not lit. If it is not, it probably is a PSU problem.

unscrew the power supply off the case and plug it into power :
if you see the fan turning then you have power;if the fan isnt moving then the power supply is fried.
