A co-worker informed me last night that if a bat attacks a person with long hair, it will attached itself to your head and won't let go. To remove the bat would take extensive hair cutting. I thought MY GOD is this true?

Nooo! Not true. I've never heard of a bat getting stuck in hair. They might brush against you and fly off. They won't hold on, all they want is the bugs flying around you.

No, their not leaches or ticks for goodness sakes... If a bat gets stuck in your hair, you need just get it untangled... they're not evil blood suckers.

I actually had a pet bat when I was little... my dad caught him for me! He was cute and AWESOME.. and I had hair down to my butt and he was NOT interested.!
