My son who is 18 yrs old now gave me his first smile after I had given him a bath. I still have that memory, like a picture in my head. My 1st grandbaby gave me his first real big smile while I was watching him this weekend.

Like it was yesterday.............my oldest son is 37 now but I even remember his first laugh........his first step........his first big-boy poopie in the big potty. I don't think any Mother forgets their baby's first smile as well as Grandbaby's first smile. All of those "milestones" are burnt in a Mother's mind till she dies.

The first Real Smile From My First daughter came when she was in the bath tub, at 5 weeks old ,She giggled shortly after that too.

My Second daughter was a little slower with it she was 8 weeks old and in her swing when I was singing to her.

My Son who is now 3 months old , was 6weeks and we were camping in our camper, And I was playing SOOOOOOOO BIG with him.. Streching His Arms up and he SMILED so big , then giggled then scared himself with the giggle and started crying hard :)

My daughter's first real smile not a gas smile was when she was 5 weeks old and I was tickling her thighs. I cried and laughed it was one of the best twenty seconds of my life.

Yes, it was so nice and it was around her 3rd month. This are moments very rewarding, special, these just stay with us forever. I don't think anyone could forget that. That was a precious sight seeing my baby girl giving me a big smile right after I nursed her...

I remember when I fell head over heels in love with each of my boys.

It's funny, I can remember some firsts from my oldest child that I don't remember from my second. And vice versa.
