is it nice there? we were thinking of taking a day trip cause we're not to far. would we need more than a day too see everything. is it expensive?? and nice rasutarunts?? just tell me all you know. thanks in advance =]]

I don't think you'd need more than a day to see everything. I live about an hour away and usually I'll go down to go to the beach, but they do have some nice things to do. I don't know how the tours are during the summer, but the Newport mansions are always interesting to see. The tours take an hour or two, I believe. I'm not too sure what you're intersted in, but if you just drive around, you'll probably find something that catches your eye. And prices will depend on the restaurant you go to.

Nice place to go. Not a stuff and up tight as NYC. Prices are reasonable as well as long as you stay away from the tourist traps at the beach if you go to the beach. As far as shopping I would not know about that for you. My shopping is always for tools hunting equipment and fishing gear. I don't think you are into hunting and fishing.
Oh! one thing if you have the time hire a boat and go deep sea fishing. Well for what it's worth!
