try using a base, then put the top coat on UNDER your nail polish. this provides a smooth, clean surface for your polish. air bubbles are usually caused when there are ridges in the nail surface.

I tend to get those bubbles when the polish I'm using is old, or if it has been stored at an improper temp. Who told you to put nail polish in the fridge? I always heard room temperature was best.

Just go buy new polish once every 4-5 months, as that is the shelf life of nail polish, even when stored just right.

it is usually because of nail polish remover, or lotion. If you use nail polish remover beforehand, make sure it is dry, or wipe your nails off with warm water. lotion will also make you polish bubble, so use nail polish remover to get any lotion off your nails, then wipe them off with warm water. also dont put too many layers of nail polish on. 3 is enough. Oh, also, buff your nails, so you can get rid of any ridges.
