I like the sport, although it ranks below the "North American" sports in my book - I'd watch football, basketball, baseball and hockey before soccer. But, I am enjoying the under-20 World Cup going on right now in Canada.

I do agree, too, that ESPN needs to give it up. Showing commercials with Beckham on it, or pushing him every chance they get, isn't likely to win a lot of new followers here. They'd have a better chance at ratings if they talked his wife into hosting a show in which she appears nude at all times.

I'll probably watch his first match againts chelsea, but that's about it. I only watch soccer every four years in the World Cup.

I LOVE soccer and Beckham (singular, not plural) as a player. Otherwise, I don't find them very interesting.
