Apparently eating boogers is good for you. I choose not to do this but if it was a life or death situation, I guess I would do it if it would make me better... LOL
Also there was a study done that suggested that kids eat boogers as a natural instinct to build the immune system by exposing it to the dead bacteria and virus that are trapped in it. I guess it kinda works like penicillin.

Since boogers are nothing more than mucous secretions (designed to catch particles as they pass through the nose, so that they don't enter the lungs) that have dried, if you eat your boogers, you're eating your own secretions, and whatever got caught in it. If you've ever sat around a campfire for a while, and then looked at the snot when you blow your nose, you'll see the ash from the fire. Given the nasty stuff that is in the air we breathe nowadays, heaven knows what's caught in the boogers, but it'll surely do less harm to your digestive tract than it would have done to your lungs.
