Would it be against Yahoo's ethics of Community guide lines as in rule #4: Refrain from using these community services for commercial or advertising purposes, in recommending a web site that would be of interest to others?

Okay, thank you for your answers. I wasn't entirely sure since one of my posts was deleted due to non-compliance of community guidelines and I wasn't sure of what I even violated.

I don't think so as long if you're not making money off of or benefiting from the website and the website actually has something to do with the question being asked.

people put websites on here all the time.....its is the advertising thing they do not want
