love my uncle? hes really quiet at family get-togethers and he acts really cold towards my cousin (his daughter)and nearly every other niece and nephew he has on my aunts side, and i resent him for that. hes not a blood relative, hes my uncle through marriage.
is it okay to not love him?

You don't even need to talk to this guy, let alone love him. It sounds like he has some personal issues you shouldn't involve yourself with.
