When ANY water is on in the house the pipes squeal. It stops when the water stops. I read online about pressure valve adjustments and tried that, but didn't work. I tried running everything at once and it stops, but returns when I've turned off all but one or two sinks. I even turned off the main shutoff valve, drained water from the house using the bleed valve, then turned back on the main (it squealed as it was refilling the pipes). I don't know what else to try [except a plumber]. Any ideas??

Try turning on a faucet to get the noise started and walk around the home to see where it is originating. My guess is that the cause is a bad washer or gasket in one of the fixtures. When water is turned on, air is sucked into the bad fixture and it causes a "reed instrument" sound. Washing machine hoses are a likely culprit since they don't get any attention unless they leak.
