you realized you weren't invincible anymore?
I'm 32 and it was last summer in a doctor's office when I realized that even I could get sick. I'm fine - but it was the thought that really snapped me out of that 'I'm young so nothing will happen to me' attitude.

When, at the age of 28, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I needed emergency surgery to relieve pressure. Fortunately, it was benign. That was 17 years ago!

my bike broke when i was riding it down a hill and i took off a lot of skin and i thought i had broken a few bones i was losing what i thought was to much blood but i was fine it was just a scary experience and i realized i needed to be careful

When my husband rolled a vehicle. I got a cracked shoulder blade that hurt bad and a concussion. Man I didn't want to get into a vehicle with him after that!

When I skinned off nearly half my leg in a bike accident. I was 8.

a few weeks ago when the doctor started talking to me about cancer and how he wants to do some tests on me.
i have yet to go back for the tests. im scared to know.

when i jumped down the stairs (i did it all the time as a child from top to the 4th from bottom and it was like flying) when i was 6 and fractured my arm.
