There was recently an article right here on Yahoo.com about how it is about quality rather than quantity when you work out. The article said that you get the same benefits doing 10 good crunches as you do with 100 so-so crunches, for example. I think that philosophy applies with other types of workouts too, such as cardio and weight training. The number of reps that you do with each exercise don't matter at all- instead it's about how well you're doing them.

Working out for 6-7 hours a day is entirely possible. Olympic-level athletes definitely work out for at least 6 hours per day. However, they vary their workouts- they'll do like an hour of cardio and maybe 2 hours of strength training, and another 2 hours maybe of flexibility (especially gymnasts), and then devote the rest of their training time to perfecting their skills. However, if you're not a professional or Olympic athlete, there is probably no reason to work out for that long each day. Many doctors actually believe that it is unhealthy to push yourself that much. They say you can do some severe, permanent damage to your muscles if you push yourself too much or too soon.

When it comes to losing weight, all you really need is about 30 minutes of workout time, 3 times a week. Be sure to include cardio for calorie-burning, flexibility and stretching excercises, such as Pilates, for muscle toning. Most people say working out first thing in the morning is more effective than working out late at night. And be sure to change up the exercises often, as your body really does get used to the same exercises and stops developing.

You sleep in ninety-a hundred minute cycles so 6 hours of sleep is technically extra effective than 7 hours of sleep. you do no longer prefer to awaken contained in the direction of a nap cycle because of the fact it may desire to disrupt your deep sleep or REM sleep, etc. Use your guy or woman physique as a coaching for no count if or no longer you're starting to be adequate sleep and not somebody else's pre-desperate variety. Do you sense sluggish for the period of most of the day? Do you often sense drained? Do you finally end up falling asleep at paintings/college? Are you getting unwell very in many situations? in case you are able to answer no to those questions then maximum in all probability you're starting to be adequate sleep on your guy or woman needs.
