It is only a pinch-hit the first time as he is then a part of the game. After the first at-bat(pinch-hit) he is officially a batter in the order.

You can only get one pinch hit per game, the second time he got a hit he was officially in the lineup therefore not a pinch hitter.

The second time it would be a hit since the player is no longer pinch hitting but is actually in the lineup.

at would be a hit because going by the rules the second at bat he would be pinch hitting for himself and that's against the rules.
