I weaned my babies by making formula bottles at room temp then cold before switching to whole milk. Your baby is perfectly fine with cold milk now.

I didn't but that's b/c they were already drinking formula cold. If they are used to the formula being warm I would warm the milk as well at first. Then once they are used to the milk and taking it well, you can try it cold and see if they like it. You may need to warm it just enough to take the chill off for a while.

My daughter would not drink her formula warmed up, she like it cold. I gave her the cows milk cold too. Just try giving it to the baby cold it is a lot easier than having to warm it up all the time.

Yes, I did. It is too cold for them right from the refrigerator. If you warm it in a microwave, warm it for 10 seconds at a time and check it after shaking the bottle. It gets hot spots after warming in a microwave and it must be mixed in and tested before giving it to the baby.

I started giving cows milk instead of formula at six months, I left it cold, but see which way your little one likes it better.

generally when they are a year old can you start giving them cows milk and with regards to heating up the bottle, i find it's the kids choice whether they will drink it cold or warm.

I only warmed formula about 5 times when we brought my baby home from the hospital - after that, we gave it to her cold, straight from the fridge. When we transitioned to milk - we still give it to her cold.

Its so much easier to keep things cool - in a little cooler pack - when out shopping or travelling - than to worry about how to warm up a bottle.
