Why is it that when you get to that nirvana, happy, ecstasy part of loving yourself and life, nobody else has climbed that mountain, so all the people around you are pulling you off of it? how do you stay on top there?

You must build confidence by enduring the negativity. When you see that those around you have secured an inferior position, this will instill the confidence even further. Only through this historical record can you truly justify your claim to "that nirvana" you speak of.

Though you must allow your adulation to be tempered by sympathy for those around you.

If you are truly there, no one can pull you off. I have also noticed that as one progresses on the path to enlightenment the naysayers either no longer bother the aspirant or the aspirant is no longer bothered by the naysayers. I am still affected by negativity so I still have much work to do.

It gets boring after a while when you become too used to it.
