I think that at least 3 people should have to 'flag' you before a violation and deduction of points is given. As it is if someone doesn't agree with your views they flag you and you have no recourse. The guidelines don't help, even the most innocent remark can be taken to be contrary to the guidelines. Yes, there are some really obscene and offensive remarks which should be banned but how many people here have had violations for innocuous questions or answers just because a sad so and so has flagged them?

I've only ever been reported twice. Both times, I understood why someone could be offended at my post and report it, but I still didn't agree that I should have had the posts deleted. I think Yahoo Answers should back off on the censorship and just allow people to discuss matters as they like, deleting only the true spam posts that actually have no meaning or purpose. As it is, it's way too easy for proper debate to become a victim of political correctness.

Your answer became deleted for being chatty. even however you have accomplished no longer something incorrect, the violation already speaks for itself very for sure. That chatty question might desire to have been stated quite of answering it. you have got stored your self violation and a loss of 10 factors interior the technique. As for figuring out to purchase your 10 factors back, overlook approximately it. I strongly propose you against alluring the violation. in case you gain this, shopper Care will uphold the violation and for this reason look into you 10 factors for submitting a faux charm. it is not properly well worth the priority. evaluate leaving that option on my own to maintain your factors. merely settle on your punishment and pass on.

I think there should have to be 3 or more people that flag you as well.

It sucks when you ask what you thought to be an insightful questions, and just because someone doesn't like your question they flag you.
