if Farenheight 9/11 wasn't true. I mean wouldn't there be lawsuits after he attacked the president this way if there was proof he lied and defamed the president?

Yep particularly if you consider when he released it. Of the amount of people that have left office since who were named in the movie - but are not suing (John Major springs to mind). Like any piece of journalism you can tell it's inaccuracies by how many succesful lawsuits there are against it.

There are zero.
And therefor Zero Inaccuracies.

Watch Farenhype 9/11. As for lawsuits he didn't lie as much as he left important information out and in some of the clips he cut this out and added. You also have to prove harm was done and it didn't hurt the president except for a few gulliable people who may have turned against him. It actually hurt Moore more than anyone cause he's come off as a loose screw. If you are at alll inclined watch Farenhype 9/11. there were like 150 some mistruths in it.

Maybe, but the legal standards are higher for public figures. Bush would have to sue half of America if he doesn't like being defamed. Besides, suing Moore would open up a gigantic can of worms - people would go out and find out some of the allegations are true, and dig up new ones.

As a public person, the president really cannot sue anyone. We have freedom of speech and as such, whatever lies are spoken of our ELECTED leaders, they cannot do squat. The last thing we want are millions of more lawsuits but politicians whining about how someone has hurt their feelings.

What good would it do? Suing Moore would only get him more publicity which is exactly what he wants. The President has more important things to do than worry about propaganda form the far left.....

Yes, It were all lies there would have been lots of noise from Washington DC. I believe a lot of what was on Fahrenheit 9/11.

The thing you have to understand about Moore is that he doesn't lie. He omits. Outright lying would be career suicide. So, he tells you what he wants and simply omits anything else.
