He testified to the grand jury that he applied cream and was not aware it was steroids. If that is all that is involved there is no perjury. There are many things that none of us know and we will have to see what additional information comes out. Also, if perjury is involved he could be indited at a later time.

I thought the Grand Jury was going to hand out subpoenas against Barry Bonds for perjury before the All Star Game. Now it's been over three weeks and nothing's been happening. I think his attorney was able to file something to delay the proceedings from happening.

If it did, he'd be suspended from playing the rest of the year.

The same reason major league baseball isn't on trial for perjury. Selig knew what was going on with the steroids and he turned his head until congress got involved. This isn't about BBonds this is about MLB!

Because his trainer, Anderson, will not rat him out and provide testimony that would support perjury charges. Anderson is in jail right now for failure to cooperate in this matter.

because the grand jury is still in session, as soon as it is over then he maybe/ could be in trouble.
