The more they carry on with these ridiculous investigations the better it is for the GOP. The average person really don't care about the AG or fired judges. They care about securing the border and protecting the home front. Bush should get some credit on protecting the home front since we haven't been attacked again and have foiled plenty of attempts...

It doesn't mean much except more bad news for the GOP. Have you taken a look at how those numbers break out? The Republicans have a higher disapproval rate (76% compared to Democrat's 64%) and a lower approval rate (21% compared to Democrat's 31%) than the Democrats in Congress.

Look at the numbers for the GOP in Congress...even lower than the Dems.....it means the war is not over.

It is the poll numbers of CONGRESS that is slipping
You folks conveniently forget that the congress is being obstructed by the republicans in congress.
Congress's low approval rating is Primarily due to the war NOT ending as the people want.
Who is standing in the way?
Why would there be anything but low rating when this kind of obstruction is prevalent?

Since 49% of the congress is republicans it means american are just as fed up with both parties.

The reality is that Americans were sick of the Bush administration and the job the Republican party has done and voted for the Democrats to bring change. They have failed to do that, and the American people are fed up with Republicans and Democrats.
And as we look at the current list of leading candidates for President, we see the same types of politicians we already have in office.
WAKE UP AMERICA!!! VOTE AGAINST THE STATUS QUO!!! VOTE AGAINST ALL INCUMBENTS IN STATEWIDE ELECTIONS!!!!

It means that many of us who did vote for a republican canidate, because they seemed like the best one, will not make the same mistake again, of allowing Republican obstructionists to prevent congress from doing what we elected them to do.

It means that your country is not happy with either party. The GOP are a bunch of lily-livered cowards for not standing up to the madman at the helm and the Dems are not doing what the majority of Americans obviously want them to do and that is get out of Iraq!
