Basic rules here. Find the cost of the bottom floor. Locally, it would be about $60-$80 a square foot. Second floor is 80%, third would be 60%, fourth would be 50%. Multiple floors is a good choice over all on one floor as far as initial investment, but your income and types of tenants who can reside here for each level will reflect these figures, also....(Check carefully with your area's handicap laws).
