No. i dont see what could possibly go wrong... just a hot power adapter.

If it is always plugged in, you would be better off to remove the battery and run only on the AC Adapter. If you keep it plugged it all the time with the battery in, the battery will decrease in performance. Don't keep the battery plugged in all the time and also don't let it run completely down for a long time.

if its pluged into the wall directly there could be a surge and it could hurt it if its pluged into a surge protecter then its just really bad for the enviorment

Yes. If you ever need to use the battery, it'll be weakened because it's use to being charged and plugged in all the time. Use the battery, let it run low, then charge it fully.

it will mess up the battery life after a while and replacement batteries are over $100

Nope... :) Its fine, but unplug it occasionally when you are done with it and its shut off...

If you notice the AC adapter usually gets HOT, so just give it some rest time and unplug it an night when you are not using it.
Other than that, you should be fine.

u it is a dell (dells suck) Ya it will when it is charged un plug it and let it die and pas the barty waring thing. do that every day and you will be glad

but dells will die affter the warnty expiers trust me 25 did that to me
