why can't we dress up for Halloween at school? is there something i'm missing? i mea, well...it's harmless fun, right? tell me what u think!

1) Certain costumes are dangerous to your health or those of others because of its design.
2) Certain costumes offend certain people.
3) Costumes can disrupt classwork and what not.

There are many other things that contribute to this. However i think it should be allowed as long as the costume isn't hazardous.

Life used to be so simple. Kids dressed up like ghosts, pumpkins, princesses, pirates, skeletons and warriors and everybody had a good time. Now we have all those areas to consider that the other people who have answered pointed out. Progress doesn't always work does it?

Because of trashy looking costumes sold at Hot Topic worn by trashy girls to get attention. They look like a bunch of prostituting strippers.

Because kids now days would take advantage of it. Some for religious reasons.
