I too have also had a hysto, and at 25 years old. I am not 28 and it was hard for me at first too. After about a year I settled down. I don't take any meds. I tried them but I felt that they made me feel worse. I had the worst time with hot flashes at night, so I sleep with a window ac and 3 fans blowing....I know that sounds like a lot but it helps...the better I sleep then the better I feel. It took my husband a while to get use to sleeping in the cold but he likes it now.
I would suggest that you try and fill your days will stuff to keep your mind busy, Try and exercises, it helped me when I was having a hard time sleeping. Read a book or something to get your mind to turn off.
I had insomnia for like 3 months and would only sleep like 2-3 hours a night. You will get through this....I am much better now.
You need to talk, email me!

I work with a Naturopathic Doctor, and the first thing that he would suggest that you do is cleanse, you should see a huge difference with just this. Most of the time a person would feel this way is when you become toxic and your body's alkalinity would become off balanced, hence the way you feel. When your body is not alkaline, 85% of thoughts are negative, where as when your body is alkaline, 85% of thoughts are positive. I would suggest cleansing and a change of diet first and foremost. After you have accomplished this, look to some one you can talk to, like a friend or a relative, or a group.
I hope this helps you, you can check out my cleansing blog, it may help you with your cleansing questions.

also, you could try going to the link below, they have a section on there site that will allow you to ask the Doctor a question, and they are very helpful at the company.

good luck to you!

you may not want meds, but you may need to consider them anyway. Therapy is a good thing, but if you can't think straight, and it sounds like you may have a problem with that, then medications can help you to do that while working out the issues with your thereapist by making it possible for you to think more clearly and stop obsessing about what other people think.

I know what it's like - and it's hard.

Meds can help - it sounds like you're anxious, but if you don't want to take them, how about talk therapy?

It sounds like you need support. Good luck.
