Hey there!

Here's the answer.

15*4 2/3 --> Write the problem.
15*14/3 --> Rewrite 4 2/3 as a improper fraction.
210/3 --> Multiply the numerators of each fraction. Note that 15 and 15/1 are equal.
70 --> Simplify the above expression.

So the answer is 70.

Hope it helps!

Convert the mixed number to a improoper fraction

Multiply 3 times 4 equals 12. then add 2 + 12 = 14. Therefore the improper fraction is 14/3

tip (multiply fractions)
a/b * c/d = (a*c) / (b*d)
note: N = N/1

1. Convert the mixed number to a im-proper fraction
2. Multiply two fractions (see tip above)

4 2/3 = 4 + 2/3 = 12/3 + 2/3 = 14/3

15 * 4 2/3 =
= (15/1) * (14/3)
= (15*14) /(1*3)
= 70

convert the mixed number to improper fraction by multiplying the denominator with the number then add it to the numerator, like this:
4 2/3=4*3+2=14/3
then just multiply with the 15
15 * 14/3= 210/3=70
so the answer is 70.
