It will be the same...the product you use won't have any impact. It's all up to your body.

It doesn't make a difference which type of sanitary protection you use - the blood will come out either way. Tampons simply absorb the blood while it is still in the vagina, while pads absorb it after it exits the body. Neither one stops the flow. There are pros and cons to each, though. Tampons control odor and accidental leakage, where pads have a lesser risk of causing an infection (Toxic shock syndrome). However, if you use the tampon sized to fit your flow (heavy or light) and wear it no longer than the recommendation on the box, the chance of getting TSS is greatly reduced.

using pads and tampons is the same for me.
however when i use tampons for the first couple days of my period, i end up only spotting for the remaining 4 days, so a pantiliner is all that is required.
but all women are different and you may not have the same results.
i recommend o.b. non-applicator tampons, as they tend to be more absorbant and less leakage than applicator tampons.

Pads are like diapers, go with tampons...and nothing can make it faster actually...Mind you, I used to have very heavy and long and painful periods, but when I had my kid, about a year after having him, they are very light and last maybe 4 days...woohoo!!!

The time should be about the same.
The bottom line is pick which is more comfortable to you and then you will not be as constantly aware of having your period and the days will pass by easily and quickly. If you are uncomfortable, you will constantly be aware of what is making you uncomfortable and it will make the days seem longer and more stressful.

It is the same. The only thing that may make your period faster is exercise. I find when I exercise at a fairly intense pace, my flow is heavier and my period ends a bit sooner.

Neither are going to make a noticeable difference, but tampons are actually GOOD for your vagina! Believe it or not, they help thicken your vaginal walls and prevent vaginal atrophy, which happens when you aren't sexually active. A lot of girls bleed their first few times not just because of their hymen breaking, but because of their vaginal walls tearing because they are so thin. As weird as it sounds, sex and fingering and using vibrators and tampons actually strengthens your vagina much the same way brushing your teeth strengthens your gums.

Neither will make it faster. The only way to do that would be to go on birth control.
