No, I think that MOST problems stem from misplaced faith and ignorance. Big business allow the general population to have a variety of goods at any price so that any person in any "tax braket" can afford to purchase any product within their price range. Capitalism allows for a free market and free trade, as opposed to high internal tariffs and too much government regulation. I don't see capitalism or big business as any sort of cause for problems in American society.

This is probably not what you are looking for, but I think capitalism is the best form of government. Communism and some forms of socialism didn't work at all because they are against human nature. Capitalism, on the other hand, is not. It is the way people handle capitalism that makes it such a burden on society.

No actually I see more problems stemming from the governments involvement in peoples lives. When we have spent 6 trillion dollars on the war on poverty and it has only become worse I call that a problem.
