Hi Kaylea,

The only other resource I can suggest, among the other things you can find on my site is a page, that could be particularly interesting for you about how to go about getting an agent: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/how_to_get_an_agent.html

Most child actors have a Manager.
Do you have a Talent Manager (not an Agent, a manager?)
If not your mom should try to find one for you.

This may help you find a Talent Manager
http://www.ncopm.com/
(National Conference of Professional Managers).

Managers are different from Agents.
Managers are NOT regulated the way Talent Agents are regulated.

Be sure to check carefully before giving money to a Talent Manager.

Ask to see video tapes of his clients who are currently working.

Before anyone can really help you, you need to put a basic location like what country/state you live in. The advice depends on where you live.

Second, the yellow pages are a terrible place to look for an agent. No reputable agency needs to place an ad in the yellow pages, give me a break.

Make your way into an improv group that performs in bars and such. Some of the best actors are improv-ers. As soon as I get my teeth fixed, I'm going back into improv.

get an agent...go to yellowpages.com and type in talent agencies..in YOUR area! and remember that they DO NOT cost ANY money at all!!! if they claim that you have to pay an agent..then they are scamming you! Keep acting...in school, classes..even get into dance..the more you have on your acting resume the better
