Every Mother's Son - Lynyrd Skynyrd (please note the spelling). Not the best known of their songs, but certainly one of the best in my opinion.

I am not really into the Country/Rock thing but these few songs are great and stand out in my mind.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is great, and yeah they have free bird and such, but try .38 Special. Ronnie Van Zant's brother was the lead singer for .38 Special, and i just like their songs a lot better. maybe it's just me. try "Hold On Loosely" "Rockin' Into the Night" and "Caught Up In You" and once you love these try some deeper cuts like "Fantasy Girl"

I have to say the classic...Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynrd. But if you like southern rock check out Black Stone Cherry. Theyre from Kentucky and they are AWESOME.
