My thinking is if the world is 2/3 water, 1/3 land, shouldn't we spend 2/3 of our time fishing?

Yes.
The only problems: I don't like to bait the hook and I won't take the fish off the hook when I catch one. I don't fish very often, because my husband has to "babysit" me and it's not much fun for him.

No, I find it to be cruel to the fish, as well as whatever live bait may be used. I can't bring myself to do it, and unless I find myself in a situation where it was crucial to my survival, I don't think I'll ever fish again.
