don't get me wrong, I love my bf but she always has to be right and everything her way. She tells me all the time what I do wrong but apparently she is perfect because if I mention any little thing she goes off. I don't want to lose our friendship but I also want it to be more enjoyable than being depressed when I get home. HELP!

I once had a friend like this and to this day she hasn't changed. (20 yrs later) Your friend needs to be the center of attention and by her constantly putting you down she feels powerful. A true friendship does not work this way. You should be there for each other and support one another. Needless to say we aren't friends anymore we drifted apart as we entered high school. Chances are this will happen with the two of you also. Don't let her change who you are, when she makes comments just tell her that's the way you want to do it. If you choose to continue this friendship don't try to correct her because it will only lead to a fight and you don't need the stress. Try to meet other people that you can spread your free time among.

Tell her, and get counseling. If you want it to work. If not, move on.
