I went to Vegas for the first time last weekend. My boyfriend and I were only there for a few days, but we managed to find some really amazing places. The revolving restaurant at the Stratosphere Hotel is really nice, and the view is awesome. Then there was Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and Bradley Ogden - both at Caesar's Palace. Those were really pricey, but REALLY, really good.

Lawry's Prime Rib is excellent, and Alan Alberts is a delicious seafood and prime rib restaurant. Almost any restaurant found in the Wynn, the MGM Grand, the Venetian, and the Bellagio are some of the best. Those are just the restaurants on the strip. Off of the strip there are so many more. Flemings Steakhouse, Ricardo's Mexican restaurant, and Vintner's are a few of my personal favorites.

I've eaten at all of the "best" resturants in Las Vegas! My favorite is Picasso in Las Vegas! I give 5 stars in all areas...serivce, atmosphere, food, location, quality, entertainment! Just go! It will be an experience you won't soon forget! Chef Julian Serrano is amazing!
Runner Up: Eilffel Tower Resturant

the restaurant at the Plaza on Fremont street is one of the best I have ever been in, wonderful cuisine, a fine wine list, white linen and a fawning staff. it is in a glass bubble overlooking Fremont St that is designed to look like a Martini glass and used to be the hotel swimming pool with a great view of the light show. All this and 2 appetizers, 2 bottles of good wine and 5 dinners for 200 bucks. Click on the link below for a pic of the view

ANDRE'S ......Capitalizing on the charm of a 1930s home, this lauded restaurant promises intimate, romantic dining. Fresh-cut flowers adorn white linen-draped tables in several dining rooms, providing an appealing warmth. In such an atmosphere, fine French cuisine is served. The excellent fare elicits high regard, and the extensive wine list is an added boon. Pan-seared magret of duck with sauteed spinach is a treat, as is stuffed rabbit loin tapenade and rabbit sausage. Andre's, recipient of many dining awards, also appears consistently on "Best of the City" lists.

There is no "best" in Las Vegas, there are favorites depending on cuisine and personal tastes, not to mention cost factor. There are so many top-tier restaurants here, it can be mind boggling!

We use the local newspapers restaurant finder to choose new places to eat all the time - you can choose by cuisine, hotel, part of town, dollar amount, etc. You can also read reviews (the newspaper's reviewer is excellent) at this site.

I agree with Tall girl. Picasso's is excellent. get the wine pairing. This will run 2 people 400-500 dollars.
For a more reasonable meal Japonase in the Mirage is awsome. 75 dollars each. Its Japanese-French - with a southern flair.
ALso excellent is Tao in the venetian. Get the Kobe beef sushi tar-tar.

I love Hugo's Cellar located in the Four Queens hotel and casino downtown. Exellent food and high quality service. Nice atmosphere too. They have the best salad I have ever had. They actually have a rolling salad cart and the waiter will toss it fresh with whichever ingredients you choose.

If you're in to Mexican, Mercado's Mexican Restaurant on Flamingo was awesome! Kind of small inside, but the food was the best!!
