They did some pretty inhumane things, and I'm just curious to know were they actual human beings.

Yes I think they were supposed to be humans. Just spooky, and Oooky humans.
Cousin It was most likely not though, he talked in a weird alien-like language, and was all hair.

They were human.
The Munsters were not (and by not I mean a werewolf, vampire, monster, etc)

lol, the people who played the parts were real humans, but I don't think anyone "normal" ever lived like that......
