Me and my "boyfriend" have been dating for 6 years .. for the past 8 month to a year we have been pretty rocky due to our personal situations finaciallly and just life period.. well he wants me to be in his life and he loves me he says he doesnt want to lose me he just doesnt want to be in a relationship right now.. he not happy with himself. Basically he wants to be bestfriends if it was meant to be it will be... weve been in eachothers lives for so long he doesnt want me out of it. But I CANT BE FRIENDS WITH HIM!!! And it hurts to see him just as a friend. what im asking is am i being selfish?? has anyone been in this situation???

when he told me this he was crying.. i told him i cant see you talk to you as freind only my heart is toomuch with you .. he was crying and asked so u cant see me at all than???? if i do be just is freind i feel im cheating my heart and what i really want.. but i also dont want to be with sumone that doesnt want the same....and only will be with me just so im not completly out of his life...

He wants to be friends, which means he no longer wants to be your boyfriend. You can accept that and move on, with him as your friend, or move on without him. He is going to move on no matter what you feel. One of my fathers sayings" why hold on to a dead horse." It sure isn't going anywhere.
