I think it depends all on your doctor and your pregnancy situation. I had a friend who(believe it or not) found out at as early as 10 wks its unbelievable i know but very true. If you do the tests for amniocentisis (spelling?) they can tell you the gender and be 100% and there are a few other tests too but if your doctor is anything like mine and you say no to invasive tests than you prob. wont find out until the common 20 wks. but no worries your pregnancy has just started and it feels slow but before you know it you'll be wondering where the time went trust me im 8 months pregnant and i feel like i just took the test yesterday. Best wishes

A friend of mine found out the sex at 16 weeks... they had a really difficult time with the ultrasound... the baby wouldn't cooperate and it was very hard to tell. She went back a few weeks later and got a definite answer. 15 weeks is sooooo early. You'll get a better more definite answer somewhere between 18-24 weeks. The baby is more developed and it's less likely that they will make a mistake. 3d/4d is also better for finding the sex at an earlier time in the pregnancy. Good Luck!

I had a 4d ultrasound at 17 weeks and it was very clear that it was a girl, according to the technician. The difference in clarity between a regular and 3d ultrasound definitely made the difference for me, although I was two weeks ahead of your 15 weeks. It all depends how cooperative the little munchkin is, mine was covering her little face from the ultrasound but she left it pretty easy for the technician to see the gender. BTW: If it is in the budget, I highly recommend a 3d/4d ultrasound, it is such an incredible bonding tool!

An ultrasound at 15 weeks will not be as accurate (the baby is tiny and the sexual organs are not very developed), so if they tell you the sex they would be more likely to be wrong.
My friend had her ultrasound at 16 weeks and they could clearly see it was a boy so she got lucky. Hope you do, too! What an exciting day!

I found out the sex of both my babies about 15 weeks. Its alot easier to tell if they are boys that early. But, YES, it is very possible that they may be able to tell you the sex today. Good luck! It's the best feeling in the world!

i found out my first was a boy at 15 weeks and 6 days. but the thing is, if they tell you its a boy, it probly is. but a girly part can still be a boy part if you look to early. it just might not be completely formed yet. so it will be fun looking, but i wouldnt get set on it until you are further along.

you may tell the intercourse of a newborn at 14 weeks yet maximum do it between 18-22 weeks cuz of the little ones length and place. i became 19 weeks 5days and the ultrasound tech had to maintain pushing my abdomen to get him to coach around cuz she couldnt tell with the way he became laying.

I heard they can tell between 16-20 weeks, but they don't guarantee it. My brother was supposed to be a girl.
