Do you think that an all-Marvel superheros movie would be created?

Just imagine a movie where Spiderman works with the Fantastic Four and the X-men, Hulk, Ghost Rider....

What if it's directed by a great director...such as Steven Spielberg or George Lucas or M. Night Shyamalan

Actually, that's the plan-- but not the way you think.

The Avengers is being prepped as a live-action movie that will incorporate multiple superhero characters from Marvel. No, Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man won't be in it... and neither will Hugh Jackman's Wolverine... but Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, from the Jon Favreau film, will have a very large part in it, the Hulk will be in it, and Captain America and the Wasp.

Avi Arad, who heads up Marvel's film department, has stated that the concept they want is to build several different franchises, like Captain America and the Submariner, and then launch an Avengers movie.

Because the lead characters in the Avengers movies are all being produced and licensed by Marvel's private film studio itself, this opens the door for them to incorporate all of these characters without having to relicense their own properties, the way they would have to with Spider-Man, any of the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and so on. Because a Wolverine film, financed by one company, could be in competition with Avengers, they will not allow these characters to intermingle. That's the headache of licensing.

DC seems to have it a bit easier. As they are owned by Time Warner, it should be fairly simple to get the rights of all the properties under one banner and make a Justice League movie, but because the individual creative teams behind Batman (the Nolans) and Superman (Bryan Singer) don't want each other's work to reflect on their ideas, getting them to continue to work on the licenses with a 'group' film in the works would be difficult.

No that wouldn't be a good movie. And nobody would want to see it. Super man could not be in a marvel movie because he is from DC so is super woman. I think if they made a movie like that they would be over doing it.

I think it would be sweet if they made a "Secret Wars" movie. All of us older "kids" went nuts for that comic mini-series back in the day. Its where all the Superheros and villians from Marvel go to battle world and fight, also first apperance of the infamous black spidey suit. That or if they made a Civil War movie with all the Marvel characters too!

This would never happen. It's great in a comic, but cheesy in a movie. Though it's weird they haven't met each other though many of them are in New York. I'm talking about the movies not the comics.

That would be interesting.

but imagine the simpsons movie without the simpsons. this idea of yours would be like that. the main characters would seem like they just making an appearance because theres too many of them (like the neighbourhood ppl in the simpsons).

there would be a jumble of subplots.. and therefore we would end up with loose ends.

I don't know, but it would be pretty sweet to have all of them fighting side by side by side etc.. but you would have to have a lot of villains having too many villains in some peoples eyes is wrong so don't get you hopes up.
