There are so many cichlids you could keep in a 100 gallon tank I can't list them all here but take a look at these web sites and see what ones you like and what their requirements are:http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/

Asking about keeping a cichlid is much like asking about keeping a mammal. Depends, do you mean a bat, a dog, a horse or a porpoise?
In a 100 G you could have 3-4 Oscars, 6-8 Discus or about 60-75 Apistogramma. One Peacock bass would more than fill a 100 gallon, while you could stack rocks and easily keep 100 smaller african shell dwellers happy.
You can easily mix different cichlids in a tank, but I would caution to stay on the same side of the world. Don't mix African Cichlids with New World Cichlilds, pick one or the other and get a good book on that type before you set up your tank.

for a 100 gal tank i would go with african mbuna cichlids , but please do some reading up 1st once again cichlidforum.com is about the best site to look at , you would find it best to have several groups of fish i.e say 10 yellow labs 10 cobalt blue zebra , 10 demonasoni , 10 tropheops , and 10 lab pearlmut , this would give you a total of 50 fish with regular maintanance and good filteration plenty of rockwork this is a managable amont of mbuna for a 100 gal (uk) and would present you with a great deal of colour and activaty ,without too much aggresion , but as all others say please stick to certain groups of cichlids your choice is endless but stick within the same groups
african mbuna
african malawi utaka
african victorian
african tangs
african tropheus
african tang shell dwellers
south american
south american dwarf
central american
central american dwarf
theese are just some of the ones i have kept ,there are many more groups and even groups within theese groups , some need species tanks only some prefer comunity , the best thing i can advise is read rea and read somemore ,have a look round lfs near and far get some ideas of what you prefer and read up on them

Well no you cant keep all different kinds of cichlid, i would stick to a specific species, African, new word, south American...etc.
But if you were to Keep Africans in a 100 gallon tank i would say you can fit 8 or 9 comfortably.
Good Luck

They are highly territorial. You will need to let them have their own territories. Sometimes it can be easier to keep a slightly higher number of cichlids then say just 2 pairs. They lose some of their territorial manners that way.
You can keep different kinds of cichlids together but they got to be able to match each other.

From personal experience, we have Kribensis and angel fish all in the same tank, however, the angels/kribesis do become VERY teritorial when laying eggs. So the females do tend to fin nip.
